Having given us a powerful portrayal of the final days of Wolverine in Logan, Hugh Jackman now turns to another iconic character nearing his end in The Death of Robin Hood, and we got the first look at a new clip this weekend at IGN Live. The clip focuses on this film's older version of Robin Hood, now pondering his dark life of crime and murder, and finding his past catching up to him in the form an enemy who challenges him in a particular fiery setting. On hand to speak about the film was director Michael Sarnoski, whose previous work includes the acclaimed Nicolas Cage movie, Pig, and A Quiet Place: Day One. Sarnoski explained how The Death of Robin Hood is a reinterpretation of "The almost millennia old story of the death of Robin Hood, which was one of the earliest myths around Robin Hood in the early ballads. This is kind of a gritty reimagining of that story. What if Robin really were a real human being who was this medieval bandit that had a kind of problematic history, and how would the end of his life look from a from a deeply personal standpoint?"
